Join us for a exhibit reception celebrating the opening of our newest permanent exhibit, Walter P. and Florence Lewisohn Caribbean Art Collection. Walter P. and Florence Lewisohn passionately collected Caribbean folk art throughout the1960s and 1970s as a means to preserve and share the culture of the region. Gifted to the university in 1981, The Walter P. and Florence Lewisohn Collection effectively exemplifies the rich history and diverse culture of the Caribbean with over 350 works.
