The University of Mississippi Museum is home to the Millington-Barnard Collection of 19th-century Scientific Instruments, The Seymour Collection of American Art, a collection of works from notable folk-artist and Oxonian Theora Hamblett, the collection of the original museum’s founders Mary Buie and Kate Skipwith, and the David M. Robinson Collection of Greek and Roman Antiquities. Works from these collections are always on view in our galleries. Some are now available online.
The David M. Robinson Collection has been made available for online viewing along with the Yokna Sculpture Trail – Museum Sculpture Path and temporary recent exhibitions including Gathering: Works by Earl Dismuke, Recent Acquisitions 2012-present, The Fall of 1962, and Continued Artistry.
