Rowan Oak

William Faulkner’s home, Rowan Oak, is open to the public 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Closed every Monday and July 4, Thanksgiving, December 24, 25, 31, and January 1.

Note: Rowan Oak summer hours:  June 1 through  August 1, Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m

The grounds at Rowan Oak are open without charge from dawn to dusk daily.

A $5 fee per visitor is charged for house admission. Tour materials for Rowan Oak are available in Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Japanese.

Guided tours are available by appointment only. Please call 662-234-3284 to arrange for a guided tour.
