Leap Day: An Extra 24 to Explore

Celebrate like you won’t see this day again for another four years at the University Museum! Leap through our galleries and classrooms to learn about art, play games, and create masterpieces. Suitable for families with children of all ages, we will also have a special area for our youngest learners ages 0-2.

Look, it’s a book! Children and grown-ups will work together to create art inspired by our special exhibit Hardcovers and Paperbacks by Brian Dettmer. In collaboration with YAC, families with children of all ages will learn how to fold and cut paper, make 3-dimensional art, and discover a new way of looking at books and sculptures. Suitable for families with children of all ages, we will also have a special area for our youngest learners ages 0-2.
