Every day, more Americans are discovering the benefits of yoga for physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Experience the joys of yoga this spring, when Oxford’s vibrant new Blue Laurel Yoga takes place in the beautiful University Museum. Betsy Banner, Ann Fisher-Wirth, and Jennie Lee, Blue Laurel’s co-owners and teachers, will offer 8 weeks of gentle/beginners’ classes, starting Tuesday, January 17, 2012, and continuing through March 8, 2012. Participants can attend two classes a week over the eight-week period, for a total of sixteen classes. Drop-ins are welcome as well; each drop-in session is $12. Participants of all ages and all degrees of experience with yoga are welcome. Wear loose-fitting clothing and bring a yoga mat if you have one; extras will be available.
