Traveling Trunk policies

The University Museum offers a Traveling Trunk Education Program for first through sixth graders in North Mississippi elementary schools. Our education staff leads this program and will come to your school and engage your students in activities pertaining to art at the museum. The Museum provides all educational materials and art supplies for this program for up to 30 students. The Traveling Trunk presentation can be adjusted to your time restrictions for your convenience. We hope you take advantage of our Traveling Trunk program and let us share our knowledge with your students!

The Traveling Trunk Program will travel up to 60 miles from the University of Mississippi to conduct the presentation or another option is for you to physically check out the trunk from the University of Mississippi Museum.

Traveling Trunk Policies and Procedures:
Trunks are to be presented by Museum Educators or Checked-Out from the University Museum at the University of Mississippi.

Trunks checked-out must be returned within a two-week period to the University Museum.

Any lost or damaged materials are to be reported to Sarah Story, Curator of Education.

We can do Trunk Presentations for up to 30 students with all materials provided in your classroom (We can travel 60 miles from Oxford, MS)
